Job Description:

Join Our Caring Team as a Hospice Aide/CNA at Elara Caring!

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time days

Territory: Genesee County

Your Role: Hospice Aide/CNA

As a Hospice Aide, you will provide personal health care, related services, and additional tasks to our clients. You will assist in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, work cooperatively with patients and their families, and communicate observations and issues with your supervisor. Your compassion and dedication will be vital in delivering unparalleled care.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 1 year of experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant is required

  • State-established or other Hospice Aide training program that meets the requirements of 42 CFR §484.36 and a competency evaluation program

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance and reliable transportation to perform job tasks

  • 50% travel

  • Preferred to live in this territory (less drive time for you in between patients)
